(Day 1) - International Flight, Los Angeles to Brisbane

Shortly after departing Los Angeles you will be served dinner and you will be given breakfast before landing in Brisbane.

Relax, watch some movies, and try to get some sleep!

(Day 2) - Shuttle Transfer, Brisbane Airport to Accommodation

Travel by shuttle from the Airport to your vacation accommodation in Brisbane, Australia.

Please wear tropical cocktail attire, light jacket, and suitable boating shoes. Please bring your credit/debit card as the Spirit of Cairns is cashless. The dinner is a buffet style meal and it may not always be possible to change a particular menu item to suit special requirements. Menu items are labelled to indicate vegetarian, diary free and gluten free (and a complete list of ingredients can be provided on request). However, while all care is taken, it must be noted that within the premises they do handle nuts, seafood, shellfish, sesame seeds, wheat flour, eggs and dairy products and can not guarantee that certain products or ingredients will not be in the food, and explicitly accept no liability in this regard.

(Day 5) - Day Tour - Australia's Natural Wonder, the Great Barrier Reef

Today you'll go on a cruise onboard the T5 to the Great Barrier Reef, one of the natural wonders of the world, and not surprisingly the world's most extensive coral reef.

T5 departs daily from Cairns. A 90 minute journey to the outer reef will see you arriving at the first of the day's two sites, selected from a range of 15 from coral gardens to caves and canyons to walls and drop offs, many of which are exclusively owned by the tour operator. Sites are chosen as the optimum locations for the weather conditions, and change daily, so each day will bring you a whole new underwater adventure! Diving (Certified and Introductory) and snorkeling are all on offered at the reef, where 5 hours allows plenty of time to enjoy water and topside activities.
Includes: Transfers to and from Cairns & Northern Beaches hotels, Marine Interpretation talks, underwater photography briefs, 1 guided snorkel tour, 3 Certified and 2 Introductory dives are available on board at own expense. Introductory Dive: Participants are required to complete a medical questionnaire upon boarding. A history of asthma, diabetes, and epilepsy are some of the conditions that may preclude you from diving.
Certified Dive: Certified divers are required to produce their Certification Cards upon boarding, and sign paperwork stating they are mentally and physically fit to dive. The diving is conducted in buddy pairs, with guided diving with a dive master available as an optional extra.

(Days 6 and 7) - Free Days to Explore

A major outlet to the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest amongst its many attractions, the tropical paradise of Cairns is sure to enchant you. With many area activities centrally located there's enough to occupy everyone in the family because Cairns literally has it all! Have a visit to the Esplanade where you can experience all walks of life and make memories. With a nightlife that caters to singles and families alike you're visit will be filled with so many things to do, so take a deep breath and have fun!

Journey to the ancient and undiscovered, World Heritage listed rainforest of Wooroonooran National Park.

Wooroonooran National Park is located half an hour drive south of Cairns city. It offers stunning pristine rainforest with fantastic World Heritage attractions. Your destination, a protected island situated on a large coral platform consisting of a small coral cay, a large mangrove island, mudflats, seagrass beds, and coral reefs. Need to Know
If intending to snorkel, passengers are required to complete a Medical Declaration for Snorkelers form (available upon booking) which will assist the tour crew to identify passengers who are either AT RISK and require additional supervision or passengers who are HIGH RISK and not suitable to participate in the activity of snorkeling due to a combination of factors i.e. Age, Physical health, swimming ability, mobility. If guests are unsure if they may be HIGH RISK and not suitable to snorkel, then we suggest a recent medical certificate would be acceptable if they are a capable swimmer.

If a passenger is identified as a HIGH RISK snorkeler they will not be permitted to snorkel.

Identifying a High Risk Snorkeler

To identify a HIGH RISK SNORKELER the passenger would have a COMBINATION of the following risks:

- Age – any person over 70 years old
- Medical history – any person with health issues identified particularly heart issues, epilepsy, overweight, limited mobility (i.e. unable to put on fins and safely use the ladders)
- Swimming ability – any person with the above who has not swum in the ocean recently
- Communication difficulty – Passenger not understanding safety briefings
- Non-Swimmer / Poor swimmer

Crew reserves the right to decline any passenger from participating in snorkeling if there is a concern about the health condition and/or swimming ability of a passenger for the safety and well-being of all guests onboard.

A wonderful day awaits as you are transported on the historic Kuranda Scenic Rail to the famous village in the rainforest - Kuranda. Your Kuranda Boarding Pass ensures preferential seating, discounted entry into selected Kuranda attractions and a detailed map is also included. Rainforestation, set in 40 hectares of lush gardens, is your next stop. Board the amphibious Army Duck and enjoy the Koala & Wildlife Park. Transfer back to Kuranda, then it's time to board Skyrail for your return journey.

Check in: A driver will check you in at your accommodation. You special Kuranda Boarding pass offerings pre-allocated seating on the Kuranda Scenic Rail and Skyrail, preferential seating on the Kuranda Scenic Railway, a detailed map of Kuranda, and discounted entry into selected Kuranda Attractions.




Kuranda Scenic Rail: At the scheduled time board the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail. An amazing journey awaits you as you travel one of the world's most scenic rail routes, through hand-hewn tunnels and over bridges spanning spectacular gorges.

Kuranda Village: Once you arrive at beautiful Kuranda Station, you have ample time to explore the many and varied shops, as well as the Heritage Markets which operate daily.

Rainforestation: Your shuttle coach will transfer you to Rainforestation, set in 40 hectares of lush gardens and tropical rainforest, where a number of unique attractions await you. Board the unusual amphibious Army Duck for a different look at the rainforest. Also included in your tour is the Koala & Wildlife Park. The shuttle bus will then take you back to Kuranda.

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway: Board Skyrail, an experience which takes you over the rainforest canopy with stops along the way allowing you to take a stroll or visit the CSIRO Interpretive Centre. With so many activities available The Esplanade has always been a focal point for this city. This is a place that literally has everything! Take a stroll and do some bird watching on the boardwalk but as you enjoy the views don't forget to stop off at Foreshore Promenade for a bite to eat at the many available restaurants. Access to The Lagoon is easy here which is set overlooking the Barrier Reef and Trinity inlet and features all year free swimming where you can take a dip in this filtered saltwater lagoon. Let the kids can play in the sandy edges and in the shallow waters while you lounge on the semi-shaded timber decks. For the kids, don't miss out on the Trinity Bay foreshore playground "Muddy" with equipment for all ages. For the older kids, stop off at the Skate Park to see some skaters and BMXers in action! Whether you decide to take a morning jog, fly a kite or just relax in the large grassy areas for some lunch you will surely enjoy the tropical lifestyle!
